 Call to Holiness

Novena and reflection towards 2021 all Hallows day celebration (Solemnity of all Saint).

Day 1 - Saturday October 23. We will be talking about the first three promises of our blessed mother to those who pray the Rosary as below:

1. Anyone who faithfully serve me by reciting the rosary will receive signal graces.

in the next 30 minutes, let us discuss the meaning of signal graces. what do you understand by signal graces? Follow us and make your contributions in this discussion-what signal graces mean to you

2.I promise my special protection and greatest grace to all who recite the Rosary. What is your imagination of "Greatest Grace"?.

3. The rosary shall be a powerful Armour against hell it will destroy vices, decrease sin and defeat heresies. What is a Heresy? let's go.

Recollection and Fatigue for 2021 All Hallows Day:

7 day recollection and fatigue towards the 2021 All Hallows Day (Call to Holiness) will start on Monday, October 25 to October 31.

This consist of cleaning up the sanctuary and entire church environment in your base with any other fatigue that may be assigned by your Base commander. Also consist of reciting the litany of the Saints   two times daily at any of the following points 9am, 6pm, 9pm with other regular Project Prayers and any other spontaneous prayer that may be led by your Base commander. Also gathering materials for the All Hallows day (Call to Holiness - November 1). Please do not fail to attend and participate actively.

Nb: Novena starts Saturday 23 October while fatigue starts Monday 25 October

2. Bible Relection:

2 Corinthians 7:1

Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.


1 Peter 1:15-16

But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”


Hebrews 12:14

Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.


Day 2 - Sunday October 24. The blessed mother says 

4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish, it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God, it will withdraw the heart of men from the love of the World and it's vanities and will lift them to the desire of eternal things oh that souls will satisfy themselves with it.

5. The soul which recommend itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary shall not perish.

Followed by litany, fatigue and recollection as in day 1.

2. Bible Reflection: 

Psalm 119:9

How can a young person stay on the path of purity?

By living according to your word.


2 Timothy 1:9

He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.


Psalm 139:23-24

Search me, God, and know my heart;

test me and know my anxious thoughts.

See if there is any offensive way in me,

and lead me in the way everlasting.


Day 3 - Monday October 25. The blessed mother says:

6. Who ever shall recite the Rosary applying itself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries shall never be conceded by misfortune God will not chastise him in his justice he shall not perish by an unapproved death if he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God and become worthy in eternal life.

Activities: 

1. Follow by the litany, fatigue and recollection as in day 1.

2. Bible Reflection:

Philippians 2:5

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.


Philippians 2:14-16a

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life.


Ephesians 5:3

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.


Day 4 - Tuesday October 26. The blessed mother says:

7: Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.

8: Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plentitude of his death shall participate in of the merits of Saints in Paradise.

Activities:

1. Follow the litany, fatigue and recollection as in day 1.

2. Bible Reflection: 

Leviticus 20:26

You are to be holy to me because I, the Lord, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own.


Romans 12:1

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

1 Samuel 2:2

There is no one holy like the Lord;

there is no one besides you;

there is no Rock like.


Day 5 - Wednesday October 27. The Blessed mother says:

9: I shall deliver from Purgatory those who are devoted to the Rosary.

10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall meet a high degree of glory in heaven.

Activities:

Follow the litany, fatigue and recollection as in day 1.

Bible Reflection: 

Isaiah 57:15

For this is what the high and exalted One says—

he who lives forever, whose name is holy:

“I live in a high and holy place,

but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit,

to revive the spirit of the lowly

and to revive the heart of the contrite.”


Romans 6:22

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.


Romans 16:17

I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.


Day 6- Thursday October 28. The Blessed mother says:

11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the rosary.

Activities:

1. Follow the litany, fatigue and recollection as in day 1.

2. Bible Reflection:

Matthew 5:48

Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.


1 Corinthians 3:16

Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?


Ezekiel 38:23

And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.


Day 7 - Friday October 29. The Blessed mother says:

12. All those who propagate the Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities. (Please teach others to pray the Rosary).

Activities:

1. Follow the litany, fatigue and recollection as in day 1.

2. Bible Reflection:

Amos 5:14

Seek good, not evil,

that you may live.

Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you,

just as you say he is.


Psalm 103:1

Praise the Lord, my soul;

all my inmost being, praise his holy name.


Ezekiel 36:23

I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Sovereign Lord, when I am proved holy through you before their eyes.


Day 8 - Saturday October 30. The Blessed mother says:

13. I have obtained from my Divine son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have intercessors in the celestial court during their life and hour of death.

Activities:

1. Follow the litany, fatigue and recollection as in day 1.

2. Bible Reflection:

Proverbs 20:25

It is a trap to dedicate something rashly

and only later to consider one’s vows.


Proverbs 9:10

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,

and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.


Luke 8:16

No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.


Day 9 - Sunday October 31. The Blessed mother says:

14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons and brothers of my only son Jesus Christ.

15. Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

Activities:

1. Follow the litany, fatigue and recollection as in day 1.

2. Bible Reflection:

Psalm 68:4-5

Sing to God, sing in praise of his name,

extol him who rides on the clouds;

rejoice before him—his name is the Lord.

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows,

is God in his holy dwelling.


1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation… 1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.


Isaiah 35:8

And a highway will be there;

it will be called the Way of Holiness;

it will be for those who walk on that Way.

The unclean will not journey on it;

wicked fools will not go about on it.

Preparation for Triumphal Entry Vigil into the month of November and All Saint Eve Watch. Vigil holds from 10pm Sunday October 31 -  4am November1, be there and play your part.
