Catholic Divine Project overview

 CATHOLIC DIVINE PROJECT OVERVIEW. 

The Catholic Divine Project (CDP) was born on 19th March 2011 out of the need to establish a formidable army of prayer warriors, using the template of the Catholic Church to fight the totality of the powers of darkness, using the five armours of:

Fasting 

Mantras 

Period of silence 

Prayers and

Vigils.

Which are distributed into 3 structures of:

Program

Prayers and

Activities

(1)i. Program- our program includes all warriors Remembrance Day which has become our feast day as solders of the cross. This is held on every Feast of Exaltation of the Cross, September 14 and is celebrated every year. 

(1)ii. Rosary conference. This is observed in the month of October especially around October 7 on the church feast of Queen of the Holy Rosary. It is aimed at reminding us of our resolve and our commitment to work with our blessed Lady daily, through praying of the Holy Rosary, in faith and obedience. This also involves distribution of the Holy Rosary (Chaplet of Our Lady) and Rosary talkshops around various Parishes.

(1)iii. Call to holiness. 

This holds on every 1st November when the church celebrate the Feast of All Saints. It is aimed at uniting all member of the project and reminding them of their baptismal vow, and claim to communion of the saints above.

(1)iv. Childs warriors day.

 This is a day set out for members who are children amongst us known as lesser project; ranging from the age of 8-16. It is celebrated on 28th December, the day of the Feast of Holy innocent. This is meant to draw the attention of the children, that they have their best homes and best friends in Heaven and should begin to fight as early as possible to claim them, that is  Heavenly  friends and homes. 

(b) Prayer.

 The Catholic Divine Project runs the following prayers annually 

(1) Novena: Our novena prayers includes

(bi-a) Power of silence novena  March 10th to March 18th  for our practice of silence and meditation prayers and preparation for Feast of St. Joseph. 

(bi-b) Act of Wise Decision Novena - February 6 - February 13. - Novena Prayer for Singles all over the world.

(bi-c) According to his word novena  April 16th -  April 24th  for those seeking fruit of the womb

(bi-d) Operation Treasury Recovery. Novena In honour of Our Lady Queen and Treasurer of the Divine Project, May 5-13. Feast day May 14.

(bi-e) Challenger novena:  July 7th to July 15th  midyear prayer for all members. This is aimed at taking the battle to the gate of the enemies it ends with the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on July 16.

(bi-f) Great expectation novenas three in  one novena  1st November -  30th November. This is for the preparation for the church New Year Advent.

(c1) Battle Prayers  30 days battle, known as Armageddon battle  December/January. This always starts from December till the end of January. 

(c2) Gog and Magog  January 28th - January 31.

(c3)   1st Jericho battle of the year  April 23rd - April 30th 

(c4) 2nd Jericho battle of the year September 23rd - September 30th.

(d) Visitation prayers: This is a prayer at God Altar, at 4pm. It is aimed at visiting saint of the day/ observing the Feast of the day in an Official evening prayer by all members. Here saints are selected randomly every month and paid homage by all members every evening.

(e) Vigil prayers. This is called triumphal entry vigil into every new month. It is used to prepare members spiritually to face the new month challenges of a catholic warrior.  We do this on the last day of every month.

Activities 

Gethsemane Watch:

This is the vigil of the lords last super held on the Holy Thursday night after the last super mass where all members stay with Christ till day break before he is taken to Pontius Pilate. 

Conference with the Holy Spirit  - This conference is held annually during the last three days of the  novena before the Feast of the Holy Spirit. 

Recollection and fatigue. A week to our program on items (mentioned in above list like All Hallows Day and Child Warriors day) , to prepare ourselves physically and spiritually before the program.

31-day August retreat and purification exercise for all project members this holds from August 1 to August 31st every year. 

Others are

Joint Congress of Members of the same Base (Parish) which holds second Sunday of every month after the first mass to update members spiritually and administratively.

Church cleaning exercise

Rosary workshop and Rosary talk shop.

Distribution of Chaplets and other sacramentals.

Envelop offertory 

In all these, the Lord Jesus and our blessed Lady, the two visible images of God on earth have been our strength. Our seemly problem are:

1. People say our programs prayers and Activities are too tough for them to key into. 2. Many people seems not to understand us, while some see us as jobless people embarking on an impossible task. It is not so. hence withdrawing themselves and their children from the project of God, forgetting that with God all things are possible. We therefore call on all practicing Catholics from the age of 8 and all those who will learn about us (the project) through this write up and various ways to listen to the voice of God speaking to you in your heart and do whatever the Lord asks you to do for the growth, propagation and strengthening of his Divine project, and not what human minds suggest to you.
